...on reusable lists (Midori style)

You have to know that I'm a serial loser of grocery lists: I forget them at home, I lose them on the way to the store or while shopping. They can be made on loose paper or post-it, it doesn't matter: I lose them way too often.
That said, some days ago, I was wondering about how I could fit the reusable grocery list I previously made for my ringbound planner into a Midori planner, so that I could take it with me when I go shopping.
I needed to create something that could be secured into the planner but that I could also get out quickly, and maybe find a way not to lose it when shopping. So the idea came.

A laminated bookmark (with two sides, to do and to buy list) that can be attached to the inside elastic of the Midori planner with the help of a carabineer. And, when you get it out, you can secure it on your shopping cart, as shown on the images below.

My list was made with a little bit of spent foil from another project. Yes you can store foil after you've used it and use it again. It's not 100% failsafe but it could give you interesting results!
And, what’s best, as it is laminated, you can write on it with a sharpie and later erase everything with the help of a little cotton pad and some rubbing alcohol. Over and over.
I was amazed when I got many positive comments on the Facebook planning groups I'm in and so I decided to share it with you.
For this project you'll need
A template of your choice (the blue, the pink or the green one) printed on both sides of a medium weight cardstock
A cutting mat + cutting knife
A small sized carabineer
A piece of round elastic (about 20 cm long)
A card puncher
A round corner puncher (optional)
An eyelet (optional)
A laminator pouch
Laminator machine
Note: if you don't own a laminator machine you could still use the laminator pouch with the iron (as explained here) or you could use transparent adhesive film or even tape.
Take your print and cut it out following the cropmarks.
Laminate it with the method of your choice, and then use the puncher to make an hole on the top side. If you want, you can place an eyelet to reinforce it and use the round corner puncher to trim the corners.
Secure the elastic through the top hole as shown in the image below and then take both extremities and knot them around the carabineer.

Voilà! Easy, isn't it?
I think that you could find this useful even without a Midori planner!
And you, what's your personal take on lists? As always, I welcome you to leave your comments below.
